Traditional Lanterns

Exhibit Features

Kinmen is rich with historical and cultural resources. This year’s Taiwan Lantern Festival’s “Traditional Lanterns Area” draws inspirations from Kinmen’s traditional art and literature and highlights the concept of “An auspicious Year of the Ox.” It also lets “Oh! Bear,” Taiwan’s tourism ambassador and mascot to lead visitors to explore Kinmen in an in-depth way, including trying their hand at early-day crafts making, so that Kinmen’s history and culture can be spread far and wide.
