Every March and during the spring equinox is the season of the southern eagle’s (also known as grey-faced buzzard’s) migration through Changhua County. This creates a special natural landscape in Bagua Mountain. These grey-faced eagles collectively hovering over the Bagua Mountain, flowing with the air currents, is an extremely spectacular scene. The short viewing period also forms a meaningful time between eagles and humankind.
Compared with the earth, human and bird life are both short-lived. In this way, this artwork demonstrates the short encounter between humans and birds with depictions of grey hawks, as well as bird feathers, the color of four seasons, light and shadow. It even expands the moment of coexistence, sharing and mutual cherishing of the beautiful world with the natural ecosystem.
